Santa Cruz is a reference center for business meetings, exhibits and all kinds of national and international events, being the most remarkable “Expocruz”, one of the most important industrial trade fairs in Latin America. More than 500,000 visitors participate every September in the most important business and social event of Bolivia. Twenty countries, twenty-nine economic sectors, US$119,000,000 in business investments, the movement of the economy amounts to US$172,593,617 during the 10-day fair and 80,000 direct and indirect jobs.
